Welcome to the month of July! We look forward to the Fourth of July celebrations and the other dates that recognize Veterans. Additional details are in the American Legion July newsletter:
We had the honor of rendering Military Honors to a fellow US Army Veteran at Holy Spirit Church in San Jose as part of the American Legion District 13 and Post 419 (Santa Clara) Honor Guard. In addition, the Color Guard team from American Legion Post 809 in San Jose conducted services for the California Dental Hygienists Association Meeting.
MEmorial day 2024
Welcome to the month of June and positive thoughts sent your way. We had the opportunity to pause, reflect and remember those fellow brothers and sisters who died while on Active Duty. Whether they were Killed in Action (KIA), Missing in Action (MIA) or became Prisoners of War (POW).
Our American Legion Post 419 in Santa Clara, California conducted two Honor Guard Services at the Mission and Memorial Cemeteries.
As we head into the month of June, I hope that all is well with you and yours. There are several dates this month that commemorate and recognize Military and Veteran dates of importance.
